Amaya Reef is located 110 km south of Colombo at a palm caressed, romantic beach of Hikkaduwa. Hikkaduwa is well known for its corral banks and exotic fish. Along the main street of this small resort town, there are a lot of small restaurants, bars and many shops with garments and souvenirs. Situated along the west coast and bordered by coconut palms, the hotel features 50 guestrooms, all with magnificent views of the sea. Located in the small fishing village of Hikkaduwa, the Amaya Reef Hotel is about a two hour drive from Colombo on Sri Lanka’s south coast. Ideally situated along the beach, guests can enjoy sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling in the coral reef. The hotel is also just a thirty minute drive from the larger town of Galle, where guests can tour the Dutch Colonial Fort. The ocean-side restaurant features a variety of fresh seafood and local cuisine.
