The old lady on the Beach of Bentota has recently had a face-lift and presents herself after a complete renovation in a new attire. Direct on the broad sandy Beach of Bentota in spacious gardens, dotted with many shady palm trees, 60 km south of Colombo.

Bentota Beach Hotel has 106 Standard Rooms, 12 Superior Rooms and 12 Deluxe rooms and 3 Suites at this superlative Bentota hotel. All rooms at the Bentota Beach hotel have its own private balcony and a view to complement. Rooms located in the north wing have a view of the Bentota River flowing along the banks and falling to the sea, while the rooms on the south wing have a view of the Indian Ocean. All rooms are colour washed in somber beiges and whites and decorated with bright coloured bed spreads, bed runners and throw pillows. The walls of these spacious rooms are adorned with hand loom tapestries that add a dash of colour to the rooms. The three suites consist of a large bed room a living area and en-suite bathrooms, the living area is furnished with a large plush beige sofa and a large colourful painting mounted on the wall brightens the room.

The pontoon at Bentota Beach Hotel is perfect to hold parties or cocktails while taking a ride down the Bentota River; it has a seating capacity of 30 and standing capacity of 60. The swimming pool at the hotel is unique, with crevices of natural rock peeking in on the floor of the pool. The water sport centre at Bentota Beach Hotel offers a variety of ways to explore the ocean and the river surrounding the hotel; such as wind surfing, jet skiing, banana boat riding and diving. For the guest who prefers land sports Bentota Beach Hotel has flood lit tennis courts, squash courts, table tennis, gymnasium, billiards, darts and archery to keep you occupied. A kiddies play area is also available at the hotel to keep the younger guests entertained. The Ayurvedic Health centre specializes in reducing stress and tension. The hotel also offers conference facilities with seating for a maximum of 160 guests (Theatre style).
