160 km from Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo, and just a few minutes away from the nearest town, the Heritance Kandalama is an oasis of luxury and relaxation. Heritance Kandalama consists 152 luxurious rooms, built on two separate wings, which blend perfectly with the natural environment. Each room has a breathtaking view. The Dambulla Wing has vistas of the surrounding mountains, the forest and Kandalama reservoir; whilst the Sigiriya Wing captures picturesque views of Sigiriya Rock.
The spacious and elegantly furnished rooms have en suite bathrooms with rain showers and hot and cold water. These glass-fronted bathrooms provide guests with constant views of the landscape and the occasional monkey! The rooms boast luxurious simplicity, with solid timber flooring and timber interiors, and hand woven tapestries throw spots of colour into the cool crevices.
