The Hunas Falls on 1500 above sea level, about 35 km from Kandy in a tea and spice plantation. For guests who are looking for relaxation in peaceful seclusion dominated by the stillness of this fascinating mountain area. 20 miles from Kandy is the Hunasgiriya Peak and the beautiful waterfall which got its name from the peak (3000 feet above sea level). Hunas Falls area is most picturesque and has an excellent climate with temperatures between 17° and 25° C.. The Hunas Fall cascades down through lovely tea country and the water is trapped below in a lake, where trout is hatched for angling.
