Days 1 & 2: Sigiriya

on Day 1, your chauffeur guide will meet you at any location/ hotel in Colombo at 06:00 am (recommended) and drive to the Heritance Kandalama Hotel, located near Dambulla city. Heritance Kandalama is one of the premier 5-star hotels in Sri Lanka and offers 152 luxurious rooms that are housed in two wings; Dambulla Wing with views of the surrounding mountains, forest and Kandalama reservoir, and the Sigiriya Wing which captures breath-taking views of the Sigiriya Rock in addition to the surrounding wilderness, mountains and lake.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Dambulla Cave Temples, Sigiriya Rock, Minneriya National Park and Ancient City of Polonnaruwa can be visited when staying at the Heritance Kandalama Hotel

Day 3: Kandy

After leisurely breakfast, leave for your next hotel, the Bungalow by Amaya situated in Kandy. The Bungalow by Amaya in Kandy is a 3-bedroom hotel with nature surrounding it offers a very calm and quite stay.

There are many places to see in Kandy and one of the most visited tourist attractions in Kandy is the Temple of the Tooth where a sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha is enshrined since 4th Century AD. The temple has decorative walls, a golden roof and fine woodwork. Religious services with traditional music and drumming are held daily at dawn, mid-day and in the evening where guests can participate. During the tour of Kandy, you can also visit the famous wood carvings at Embekka Devalaya, Lankatilake Temple, Peradeniya Gardens, Kandy Garrison Cemetery and the Kandy Lake and the Kandyan Cultural Show.

Days 4 & 5: Nuwara Eliya

Today, after leisurely breakfast, check-out from your hotel and travel to your next hotel the Oliphant Bungalow, nestled in the countryside of Nuwara Eliya. Spectacularly placed within tea gardens and mountains, the Oliphant Bungalow offers seven well-appointed luxury rooms with spacious king size four-poster beds, large windows overlooking scenic landscapes and modern amenities including cable television and Wi-Fi.

There are plenty of places to discover when vacationing at Nuwara Eliya. You might like to go trekking the World’s End in Horton Plains, enjoy the tea experience with a walk through a tea plantation and a visit to a tea factory. There are also several picturesque waterfalls to be explored.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo

After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven back to your hotel in Colombo via Kithulgala, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous place for white water rafting between January to March.
