Days 1 & 2: Sigiriya
Our chauffeur guide will meet you at any location/ hotel in Colombo at 06:00 am (recommended) and travel to Sigiriya for a two-day stay. En route you can visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is situated about 90km northwest of Colombo, in the Kegalle town. Then onward, Dambulla Cave Temple , Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Polonnaruwa are most visited tourists attractions to experience when stay in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Kandy
After leisurely breakfast, leave for your next hotel situated in Kandy. There are many places to see in Kandy and one of the most visited tourist attractions in Kandy is the Temple of the Tooth where a sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha is enshrined since 4th Century AD. The temple has decorative walls, a golden roof and fine woodwork. Religious services with traditional music and drumming are held daily at dawn, mid-day and in the evening where guests can participate. You can also visit the famous wood carvings at Embekka Devalaya, Lankatilake Temple, Peradeniya Gardens, Kandy Garrison Cemetery, Kandy Lake and the Kandyan Cultural Show.
Days 4 & 5: Nuwara Eliya
Today, after leisurely breakfast, check-out from your hotel and travel to Nuwara Eliya for a two-day stay. it’s a land of peace and silence and many interesting places to visit such as World’s End in Horton Plains, Pidurutalagala, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Galways Land National Park, tea plantation and picturesque waterfalls.
Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo
After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven back to your hotel in Colombo via Kithulgala, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous place for white water rafting between January to March.
