Dambulla Rock Temple
Dambulla is a large town, home to a well preserved Golden Rock Temple which has historical, archaeological and artistic significances. Due to its historical ruins, Dambulla was once designated as a world heritage site. When you enter the cave area, you have to remove your shoes and walk barefoot. The stone are hot most of the day and it is advisable having a pair socks. Wear cloths to cover your shoulders and below your knees.
